How can i direct deposit my tax refund to my Green Dot Account?

All you have to do to receive your tax refund on your Green Dot card is:

  1. Get your routing and direct deposit account number by logging in – or – through text.
  2. Use this information when asked for your routing and direct deposit account number.
  3. When asked for Green Dot’s bank routing number, use the following: 124303120
  4. For tax refund purposes, be sure to mark the box labeled “checking” for the type of account.
  5. Sit back, relax, and enjoy getting your tax refund faster than a paper check!

Not a gift card. Must be 18 or older to purchase. Online access, mobile number verification (via text message) and identity verification (including SSN) are required to open and use your account.
