Important: Second Government Stimulus Payment Information & More!

4 easy ways Green Dot can help you quickly access the second Government stimulus payment and other Government benefits.

1) Need a replacement card? If you have misplaced your card and need to report it lost or stolen, log in to GreenDot.com or the mobile app to request a new card .¹ Make sure the address we have on file is correct.

2) Expecting a second stimulus payment? The IRS completed direct deposits of second stimulus payments as of January 5th, 2021. For many of our customers, if the IRS has your Green Dot Bank account information on file and you are eligible for the second stimulus payment, the IRS automatically deposited it to your Green Dot account. However, if you are eligible for a stimulus payment and have yet to receive a deposit, please check IRS.gov for questions or more information. You may be receiving a paper check or debit card in the mail directly from the IRS, even if you previously received a direct deposit.

3) Want to be notified when you receive your stimulus payment? Sign up for Account Alerts.

4) Need to open a bank account? Open an account to get an account number instantly. If you are expecting a paper stimulus check, cash or deposit a check to your account
