Load Cash to Your Card with MoneyPak
There is a MoneyPak service fee of $5.95. How long until my MoneyPak is loaded? After purchase, there is a 20-30 minute funding delay before your MoneyPak is ready to use.

No. MoneyPak can no longer reload temporary cards. Temporary cards are cards that have not been registered with the card provider (or where registration was not properly completed). Temporary cards do not have the cardholder's name on the front. If you have a new card without your name on it, you must register it on your card provider’s website. Once you get and register the personalized card it will then be ready to accept deposits from a MoneyPak as long as it is eligible.

Pick up a MoneyPak in the prepaid or gift card section, take it to the register, and the cashier will collect your cash to be loaded onto the card plus the $5.95 service fee.
The only way you can reload a prepaid or bank debit card with a MoneyPak is through our Secure Login. The Secure Login is a one-time registration on MoneyPak.com. MoneyPak has enhanced fraud controls, and is not anonymous. All parties involved with this transaction must be willing to provide personal information required to verify identity. Once your identity is verified the first time, you can simply log in on return visits to quickly reload prepaid cards with MoneyPak.
To create a MoneyPak.com Secure Login, you will be asked your first and last name, Social Security number, birth month and year, email and mobile phone number. During setup, you will also be asked to verify your mobile phone and allow Green Dot to use your current location.
Additionally, some users may be asked to further verify their identity by uploading photo identification.
If you think you may have been scammed, you should submit a fraud claim to Green Dot immediately and contact your local police department as quickly as possible.
After submitting the fraud claim, you will receive an email requesting an image of the MoneyPak receipt. Please provide the receipt image as quickly as possible. We cannot process claims without the receipt image.
Green Dot will attempt to recover funds from fraudulent activity, but if the MoneyPak funds have already been transferred, we will not be able to issue a refund. If funds are recovered, we will issue a refund check. Refund checks typically take 7-14 days to arrive. In some cases, Green Dot may require additional identity verification to process your refund, and this will delay mailing of your check.
